Dominic King's Laughing Frog Productions is based on the Romney Marsh in Kent.
We provide easy access to creative services, audio production and in-person hosting. Dom has worked in the media sector for over 30 years; from print to broadcast, as a journalist, presenter and producer, across community, local and national platforms. So what about the name? 'Laughing Frog Productions' comes from the distinctive sound made by the amphibians introduced to this area in 1935 and known locally as the "laughing frog". Twelve of them were brought by playwright Edward Percy Smith from Hungry to his pond in Stone-in-Oxney. They escaped! A lot of 'laughing' later and they are now heard all over the Marsh. |
